Dr. Zachary Brooks

Dr. Zachary Brooks is a foot and ankle surgeon who practices in (and is from) Eugene, Oregon. He believes in providing evidence-based and compassionate care to help his patients reach their goals.
Dr. Brooks completed his undergraduate degree in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon and graduated from Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, one of the most competitive Podiatric Medical Schools in the country. During his time in medical school, he served as class president and conducted research on an alternative approach to calcaneal fracture surgery.
He completed his surgical residency as Chief Resident at Kaiser Permanente North Bay Consortium in Vallejo, California. Kaiser North Bay is one of the most rigorous residency programs in the nation, focusing on research-backed medicine/surgery with a strong emphasis in foot and ankle trauma. Dr. Brooks completed advanced rotations in orthopedic trauma surgery, vascular surgery, and infectious disease. During this time, he became a council member for the Northern California Kaiser Medical Education Committee and published literature on total ankle joint replacements.
Dr. Brooks also developed and published a new ankle fracture reduction technique. At each phase of his medical training, Dr. Brooks exemplified leadership and advancement in the profession of foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Brooks recognizes the toll physical labor and athletics can have on the form and function of a body. He specializes in trauma, heel pain, arthritis, bunions, hammertoes, and pediatric flatfoot with extensive training in forefoot, rearfoot, and ankle reconstructive surgery. Dr. Brooks is also ACFAS certified in foot and ankle arthroscopy.
Zachary Brooks and his incredible wife are thrilled to return to their hometown with their two wonderful sons. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Brooks believes and appreciates that every person knows their body best, and is passionate about providing patient-centered care through both preventative and restorative foot and ankle treatment. He is honored to be chosen to help his patients get back on their feet.

Closed for lunch from 12pm - 1pm and closed until 1:30pm on Tuesdays
