Dr. Jacob Green

Dr. Green was born and raised in Southern California with a passion for baseball and college athletics. He obtained his B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy in hopes of working with athletes. While at San Diego State University, he worked for the athletic departments of both UCLA and SDSU while later being employed by the San Diego Padres. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Green shadowed the renowned Dr. Michael Levi, podiatrist for the Los Angeles Clippers. From that initial exposure, it sparked interest in this unique field of medicine. Podiatry allowed him to combine his passion for sports and helping people with acute and chronic conditions. 

Dr. Green then attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine where he was the Class President. After graduation from medical school, he became a clinical faculty member at WesternU while completing his residency in Southern California. During his residency, Dr. Green was bestowed the honor of being the Chief Resident while training in diverse medical settings under the guidance of some of the most highly regarded foot and ankle surgeons in California. Following residency, he was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at WesternU while also working in a private practice in the Inland Empire of Southern California. 

Looking to get out of the city with the addition of his first child, Dr. Green and his wife decided to make the move to Oregon. Outside of the clinic and the OR, he and his wife enjoy hiking, exploring new restaurants as well as experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Additionally, he and his wife are avid sports fans that will miss going to Dodger Stadium for an overpriced Dodger dog; however, the Green’s have embraced the local teams here in Eugene and look forward to many years of enjoying all the games here in Eugene with their son.
