Dr. Michael J. “Dusty” McCourt

Dr. Michael McCourt, raised in Centralia, Washington, pursued varied adventures including serving as an Airborne Artilleryman and trombonist for the 82nd Airborne Band before turning to medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies in foreign language and outdoor recreation, developed an interest in medicine while teaching wilderness survival skills, and graduated cum laude from medical school. Dr. McCourt is board certified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot Ankle Surgery, has published peer-reviewed articles, and has lectured nationally. An avid endurance sports enthusiast, he enjoys cycling, running ultramarathons, skiing, and spending time with his wife and two children.
